Balance, Bounce and Roll
This 3 hour workshop demonstrates how balance
transfers into functional strength in using the Bosu.
Learn how to incorporate fun filled exercises safely into
your training by balancing and bouncing in all 3 planes
of motion on the Bosu. You will finish the workshop with
foam rolling and releasing knots (myofascial release) by using a 12” round foam roller.
Foam Rolling - Self Myofascial Release
This 2 hour hands-on workshop will demonstrate how to
release knots and improve circulation by using a foam roller
as self–massage. An absolute must for all athletes.
Cut To the Core Stability Ball
This 3 hour workshop will demonstrate a creative
hands-on approach to improving core strength,
coordination and balance. We will focus on the stability
ball for enhancing the performance of pelvis, spine and
shoulder complex. Upon completion of this course, you
will have a variety of new exercises to do yourself and to offer your
clients on the stability ball.
Manual Resistance Training - Stable
to Unstable Surfaces
This 3 hour hands on workshop demonstrates and provides the personal trainer with creative ideas in training your clients without equipment. Learn how to work your entire body in partner training using manual resistance with complete control and perfect reps.
You will incorporate the Ball and Bosu with manual resistance
adding core strength as another component.
The Quest for the Perfect Rep - Through The Eyes of a Physical Therapist
This 3 hour hands on workshop/lecture will provide information in evaluating the correct biomechanics of an exercise, looking for compensations that the client may be performing due to weaknesses and imbalances. Listen to how a Sports Physical Therapist breaks down the body mechanics and shows how we "cheat”. Learn how to communicate to Medical Professionals through terminology and physical assessment.
A must for all trainers.
